Overview

Arbol is a global climate risk coverage platform and FinTech company offering full-service solutions for any business looking to analyze and mitigate exposure to climate risk. Arbol’s products offer parametric coverage which pays out based on objective data  triggers rather than subjective assessment of loss. Arbol’s key differentiator versus traditional InsurTech or climate analytics platforms is the complete ecosystem it has built to address climate risk. This ecosystem includes a massive climate data infrastructure, scalable product development, automated, instant pricing using an artificial intelligence underwriter, blockchain-powered operational efficiencies, and non-traditional risk capacity bringing capital from non-insurance sources. By combining all these factors, Arbol brings scale, transparency, and efficiency to parametric coverage.

Arbol is looking for a skilled Claims Examiner to join our growing property casualty claims team at Lilypad Insurance Managers. The ideal candidate for this role has experience handling residential and commercial property claims with expertise, empathy, and efficiency. • Customer Experience: Deliver compassionate, timely, and solutions‑focused support during moments of loss, ensuring customers feel heard, informed, and genuinely cared for when they need us most.

  • New Technology and AI: Leverage and adapt emerging technologies, including AI‑driven tools and modern claims software, to streamline workflows, improve accuracy, and enhance the overall claims experience.

  • Adaptability: Quickly adjust to new situations, evolving claim scenarios, and emerging technologies - embracing change, learning new tools, and applying them effectively to improve claim outcomes and workflow efficiency.

  • CAT Claims Support: During high CAT claim volumes, step in to manage new, low-complexity claims.

  • End-to-End Resolution: Handle claims from inception to resolution, investigating loss circumstances, applying coverage accurately, and working within assigned authority levels.

  • Fraud Detection: Identify fraud and recovery opportunities.

  • Vendor Management: Engage and monitor the work of outside vendors in the claim adjustment process.
